OM Guitar #135

$2600 (ex transport)

New guitar made from Carpathian Spruce and Tasmanian Oak.   This guitar has a beautiful warm, mellow, sweet tone and is very responsive.  A really beautiful fingerpicking guitar.  This wood combination works exceptionally well in guitars as well as mandolins.  14frets to the body, 25.4in scale length, varnish finish.  The finish is the same varnish finish I use on the mandolins so does require a bit of extra care, but looks gorgeous and feels great, and of course sounds great.  Has a bolt on neck and Schertler tuning machines.  No pickup.  Comes with a case.

Woods are - Carpathian Spruce top, Tasmanian Oak back and sides, Queensland Maple neck, Indian Rosewood bindings, Tasmanian Myrtle rosette, Ebony fingerboard (16in radius), tuning knobs, bridge, and headstock overlay.

Here is Ray Gardaya playing it.  Recorded with medium strings when the guitar was around 6 weeks old.

Here is me playing it with light/medium strings at around 9 months old.  You can hear the difference, it has matured very nicely.
