Recently Completed instruments

This Goldfinch mandolin was completed on 27/1/2010.  King Billy Pine top, Blackwood back sides and neck, Ivory wood bindings, Gidgee tuning knobs, Myrtle pickguard, King Billy Pine linings and Queensland Maple headblock and tailblock.  Paua Abalone inlays.  All Australian native timbers except for the ebony fingerboard, bridge, pickguard binding and clamp, and headstock veneer.  Beautiful sounding mandolin, sweet and clear, well balanced and with good volume, one of the best Goldfinch models I have made.  A real keeper, I really like it.  Sorry, it is a custom order so is not for sale.
