couple of pictures of my Gilchrist mandolin for those who may be
interested. Most of the image sizes are in the order of 500KB so

A very happy Mary Shannon and her mandolin #81. Mary is the sister

Sharon in the Sharon Shannon band.

This is Mandolin #87. I have used this mandolin as an oval hole
reference for around 7 years. There is just something about the
sound of this mandolin that I like so kept it for myself. It now
has a good home in the hands of the Canberra Mandolin Orchestra's
conductor.
A blond oval hole #129. Woods are European Spruce top, European
Maple back, sides and neck, ebony bindings and pickguard. Sounds
as good as it looks - gorgeous.
